Speech and Drama Teacher
Hannah had an upbringing in the performing arts – dancing and performing at every opportunity. She has studied and performed in Jazz (CSTD), Ballet (RAD), Tap (GWT), hip-hop, contemporary, latin and musical theatre for 15 years. As an adult Hannah has realised the positive contribution the performing arts had on her in her formative years, and she is keen to pass on these benefits to her students. Hannah has also had roles in many musical theatre shows both onstage and in production. These experiences have fostered in Hannah a love of learning in, through and about the arts.
Hannah’s background has afforded her many opportunities to take on the teaching role, in many different settings. Hannah has furthered this passion in tertiary study and has obtained a Bachelor of Creative Industries with the Queensland University of Technology double-majoring in Dance and Drama, graduating in 2017. Hannah is currently studying a Masters of Teaching with QUT.
Even if you’re little you can do a lot, you mustn’t let a little thing like ‘little’ stop you.” ~ Naughty from Miss Hannah’s Favourite Musical, Matilda The Musical by Tim Minchin
