Speech and Drama Teacher

Speech and Drama teacher BrisbaneMiss Olivia has been widely involved in the Brisbane performing arts community for over ten years.  Olivia has studied Law and Creative Industries majoring in Drama at the Queensland University of Technology; Speech and Drama with Annette Stoddart; short programmes with NIDA, the Queensland Conservatorium and Laboite and has a Certificate IV in Musical Theatre from the Brisbane Academy of Musical Theatre.   Olivia is also trained in Ballet and Classical Voice and has performed with companies such as Opera Queensland and Harvest Rain.   She has been teaching Speech and Drama for six years and has recently undertaken study of her ATCL Teaching Diploma in Speech and Drama with Trinity College London to formalise these skills.

Olivia is grateful to have grown up with a rich arts education and attributes her ability to be confident and creative in her adult life to this strong foundation.  Olivia is passionate about fostering effective communication skills in her students.  She believes a holistic education in the arts, particularly in Speech and Drama, is something all children need, to become articulate and expressive individuals.  Olivia goes above and beyond for her students and is particularly skilled in writing, adapting and developing high quality pieces for performance.
