What is A Studio Award?

Speak Up Studio’s Award Syllabus provides students a goal to work towards, and an achievement to celebrate! The syllabus is designed to develop voice, communication and performance skills that will assist students at school, in daily life, and when performing on stage. Students will develop confidence to communicate and skills to read effectively, speak with clarity, to make presentations, and to present texts in an imaginative and insightful way. They also spend time discovering texts, and looking at ways that two text link together!

Speak Up Studio’s Awards have been designed to give students the skills that will enable them to progress to Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB) Exams, which are available to Speak Up Students from grade six and up.
