28 Aug Holiday Workshops Boys Will Love
There are a lot of activities on offer that promise to keep energetic boys busy over the school holidays. At Speak Up Studio we ensure there is something for everyone and create our workshops around popular content that our students attending weekly classes are currently raving about!

Creative Holiday Workshops for Boys in Brisbane
Our Short and Sweet Workshops are for children in Prep to Grade 4 and are three hours in length. They are designed for maximum energy and fun. The craft activities also allow kids to spend some extra time developing fine motor skills and creativity.
The Incredibles, Craft and Drama
(Monday 12.30pm – 3.45pm)
Ultra speed? Invisibility? Super strength? Being a superhero might be fun, but is it even more fun being an Incredible? Come along to this superhero craft and drama workshop and create your own superhero mask to hide your identity when playing games and performing scenes from The Incredibles movies!
Captain Underpants, Craft and Drama
(Tuesday 12.30pm – 3.45pm)
Tralalalala! Captain Underpants fans unite for this action packed craft and drama workshop! Make your own superhero cape to wear while fighting crime and play lots of fun drama games inspired by the world of Captain Underpants!
Winnie the Pooh, Craft and Drama
(Thursday 12.30pm – 3.45pm)
Welcome to the Hundred Acre Woods! Join Christopher Robin, Winnie The Pooh, Piglet and the others in this crafty workshop! Students will make their very own furry character from the Hundred Acre Wood out of colourful socks, and then jump on stage to perform for the parents!
Cats and Dogs, Craft and Musical Theatre
(Friday 12.30pm – 3.45pm)
It’s raining cats and dogs! Join us these holidays to create your very own cat or dog costume and learn a song and dance to a mashup of songs about everyone’s favourite furry animals!

The Little Experts program was created to give older students in grade 3 to grade 8 a chance to work on more advanced skills and techniques, while still having heaps of fun! These workshops run over a whole day.
The Greatest Showman, Musical Theatre
(Monday 24th September, 9am – 3.30pm)
Come one, come all! To anyone who’s searching for a way to break free! Over two days students will learning singing and choreography to a mashup of songs from The Greatest Showman, finishing with a performance for parents.
Fantastic Beasts, Craft and Acting
(Tuesday 25th September, 9am – 3.30pm)
Magizoologist Newt Scamander’s has a remarkable collection of magical creatures in his suitcase! Join us for this one day workshop where we will design beautiful illustrations of some of the most fantastic beasts in the magical world, then share our illustrations during an engaging and inspiring performance. With elements of art, craft, acting and improvisation, this workshop is sure to delight any fan of the wizarding world!
The Greatest Showman, Musical Theatre

Funny Scenes from Harry Potter
(Thursday 27th September, 9am – 3.30pm)
Accio Hogwarts students! If you have a funny bone like Fred and George Weasley you will love this workshop! Students will workshop a funny scene or monologue from Harry Potter, invent their own hilarious spells and get dressed in Hogwarts robes to put on a spellbinding performance for parents. Will you be noble Harry, sweet Dobby, the twins – Greg and Feorge or perhaps Master of Mayhem himself, Peeves?

The Born to Perform workshop runs for a full week Monday 2nd to Friday 5th October – it is a musical production extravaganza! Designed for committed and talented students (aged grade 3 to grade 8) who will learn lines, rehearse and perform a full length musical at the end of the five days. It’s an incredible journey! These holidays our Born to Perform production is Shrek the Musical J.R.
