The Speak Up 2018 Concert was an outstanding affair of colour, creativity, collaboration and confidence!
The pieces see on stage were all written by A. A. Milne and we adapted them into a beautifully narrated story with poems and songs woven throughout.
Our amazing individual Speech and Drama students performed prose stories from Winnie the Pooh and The House at Pooh Corner to tell the story, while our incredible S Chatterbugs, Chatterbees, Chatterboxes, Polkadots, and Zigzags presented poems and rhyming plays that we have adapted from various Milne collections.
Our talented Musical Theatre Discobugs, Discobees and Discoboxes performed songs from various adaptions of the stories that have been turned into films and musicals over the years. The concert captured the imaginative stories, and the magical music of the Milne!
We are so proud of the team involved, and the kids who performed!
